Heroic Mr Kemmer

Noone is quite sure what Heroic Mr Kemmer is.

Heroic Mr Kemmer is not sure what Heroic Mr Kemmer is.

But here he is all the same.  Is he rap? Spoken word? Performance poet?  Hmmm.  Not really.  But he’s something, and he’s giving it a go bless him.

From a seed born in the bubbles of covid, Heroic Mr Kemmer and Faint Line have been marinating these juices from distance.

One cold, dark evening they played scrabble online, only allowed to place inspiration on the board: Tricky, Gibbons, Tempest, sometimes Hitchcock, Tarantino, Lynch.

“Could this work?” asked HMK.

“Not a chance” replied FL, “the conceit doesn’t follow – online scrabble won’t allow real names.”

But still, here we are, 5 years later.

The new album “Let’s See What’s Left of Me” is complete.  We hope you like it.

Availabe on here very shortly
